Refunds
Will be issued as follows, Up until and including the first week of practice $150.00. Up until and including the second week of practice $75.00. After the second week of practice $0.
 
Concessions
Every parent needs to help with concessions.   THIS IS MANDATORY!
 
Coaches
Each squad needs 1 head coach, 2 (or more) assistants and 2 (or more) junior coaches.  Head and assistant coaches need to be over the age of 21, consent to a background check and preferable female.  Junior coaches are usually from high school or college and are extremely hard to come by. If you know anyone willing to commit their time, please contact me.

Fees
The cost of cheerleading is the same as the football players, $185.00 plus a mandatory non-refundable $75.00 fundraising.  THE UNIFORMS (SHELL & SKIRT) ARE THE PROPERTY OF THE VILLA PARK WARRIORS YOUTH CHEERLEADERS AND MUST BE RETURNED AT THE END OF THE SEASON.  Your child will receive shoes, socks, bodysuit and briefs to keep.  The girls should purchase a pair of black sweat pants for colder weather.
 
Report Cards
Chicagoland AYF recognizes any student, 5th grade and above, that has a grade level of 94% and up with a banquet.  More details to follow once the season begins.
 
Competition
Chicagoland AYF hosts a competition towards the end of the season. Lower levels are exhibition. Levels above that are competitive.  Each squad is required to put together a routine for competition.  The routine consists of cheers, stunts and dance performed to music.  All girls are expected to participate.
 
Squads
All squads are put together by age, according to the bylaws of Chicagoland AYF, and the cheer director.
 
Stunting
The girls will be taught basic stunts by adults and or junior coaches (high school age). Your daughter’s safety is a top priority.
 
Games
Games are usually played on Sundays. It is a 9 week season with playoffs to follow.  In addition to cheering at home games, all cheer squads are required to travel to at least 4 away games and any possible playoff games.
 
Practice
Practice begins the last week of July or the first week of August. Practice will be Monday thru Thursday 5:30pm – 7:30pm. Once school starts practices drop down to Monday, Tuesday & Thursdays  from  5:30pm – 7pm.  Attendance will be taken.  Missed practices can result in non-participation of half time routines and possibly competition.
